Chief Executive Officer

As President and Chief Executive Officer of Commonwealth Care Alliance  (CCA), Chris views healthcare innovation through the lens of both entrepreneurial vision and proven pragmatism.

Chris has advised a variety of private equity investors about innovative applications of healthcare technology. He served as CEO of Remedy Partners, a national bundled payment company in Darien, Connecticut, which secured $50 million Series C financing with Bain Capital Ventures. Chris also served as President and CEO of Visiting Nurse Service of New York Choice Health Plans, successfully transforming the organization into a $2 billion safety-net insurance company offering both Medicare Advantage and New York State Medicaid Managed Care products.

Chris is Chair of LifePod’s Board of Directors and Chair of the Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP). He is on the Board of Healthify and serves as Vice Chair of the National Managed Long-Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) Health Care Association,

a consortium of leading managed care organizations serving state Medicaid programs and beneficiaries.

Jonathan Gordon

Melding his experience in healthcare, start-ups, and investing, Jon seeks to bring a pragmatic, holistic, and rigorous perspective to innovation. He seeks to draw upon many viewpoints, including those of the clinician, patient-member, entrepreneur, and executive.

Jon previously launched NYP Ventures, the strategic venture capital arm of New York-Presbyterian (NYP) Hospital, making investments in leading digital health start-ups and building strategic partnerships with companies such as Walgreens and Zocdoc. Other leadership roles included NYP’s Office of Strategy and launching NYP’s Health Policy Center to advance the role of academic medical centers in developing healthcare solutions. Jon is also an entrepreneur, having been Co-Founder, President and COO of EveryDay Medical, an e-commerce-based provider of durable medical equipment.

Jon is currently a faculty member of Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, and serves on the board of Costs of Care, an organization dedicated to improving patient affordability. Alongside his role with Winter Street Ventures, Jon also serves as Senior Vice President of Innovation for Commonwealth Care Alliance.
